Regular Historical Commission meetings The next Historical Commission meeting is scheduled for |
Recognizing the need to balance reasonable and inevitable growth with a proper respect for our historic heritage, the Concord Township Board of Supervisors enacted our township’s Historic Preservation Ordinance in October, 1997. The ordinance includes a Historic Resources Inventory of properties built before 1900, and provides steps to protect these resources through development provisions and alternatives to the demolition of these resources. The ordinance created the Historical Commission, a group of volunteer residents, to administer the terms of the ordinance.
