Kids Dream Playground is now OPEN!

After numerous scheduling and rain delays, the new Kids' Dream Playground, located on Smithbridge Road, is now open for play!

The handicapped accessible playground was made possible with funding assistance provided by the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) Community Conservation Partnerships Program - Keystone Recreation, Park and Conservation Fund. The new ADA-compliant equipment provides comfortable, safe and maneuverable play areas for children 2-5 and 5-12 years of age.

The 2017 playground makeover project included the removal of the former playground equipment; including 6 inches deep of old playground surface. After the previous structure and surface were removed, site preparation and equipment installation could take place. Wet weather significantly delayed project work but on July 20, 2017 the playground was finally able to have visitors. A formal ribbon cutting of Kids' Dream Playground took place on Community Day, September 9, 2017.
