This group meets monthly on the first Monday of each month at 12 noon at the Concord Senior Center located at 817 Concord Road, Glen Mills, PA 19342.

Sponsored by Concord Township Council, the Expo is held in the fall at the Brandywine Youth Club Gymnasium, 41 S. Thornton Road. Over 80 exhibitors from state agencies and local organizations, businesses, and clubs are on hand to share their expertise and information on services and issues important to you. Refreshments are served and many door prizes are awarded throughout the day.
This is the perfect opportunity for you to meet your neighbors and take advantage of the services available to you.

Delaware County Senior Citizens
The Senior Community Services (SCS) offers an exciting array of classes to educate, inspire, and encourage you. Created specifically to serve adults 50+ in western Delaware County, the Center for Life Long Learning (CLLL) brings adult education offerings to you.
In Concord, classes are held at the Rachel Kohl Library. Other Delaware County course locations are in Aston, Brookhaven and Springfield.

Delaware County Office of Services for the Aging (COSA) has a mission to plan, develop, coordinate and administer a comprehensive and coordinated service system for older county residents. Their goal is to help provide well-being while maintaining independence and dignity in a home environment for as long as possible.

Delaware County Senior Games has the mission to engage residents over the age of fifty in two weeks of fun events that promote a healthy, social and active lifestyle. The Games are sponsored by Delaware County Council, the Department of Parks and Recreation, the County Office of Services for the Aging (COSA) and the VisitDelcoPA Tourism Bureau. The Games usually take place in June, however, due to COVID-19, the 2020 Games have been cancelled.

Garnet Valley Gherkins Pickleball Club
A popular game with local seniors, pickleball is a combination of ping pong, badminton and tennis.
Concord Township is the home of Garnet Valley Gherkins Pickleball Club.
Using the Township's own courts for outdoor play (located at the Township Municipal Complex on Thornton Road), the Gherkins group hosts games and practice time several days a week.
